Play is our favorite way to learn

Over the last few years, we've been fortunate to partner with Timberdoodle, which has been a wonderful way to introduce Candygrams into homeschool curriculums across the country. Here’s how Timberdoodle describes their business:

We're a family-owned company that has been finding crazy-smart supplies for homeschooling since 1985. Our goal is to offer unique and innovative homeschooling items that are fun for kids and parents. Our special emphasis is engineering, hands-on, and thinking-skills products that kids love.

Candygrams was a natural fit. Some of our best feedback comes from teachers, especially home educators, telling us how they use Candygrams to help reinforce learning, spelling, and critical thinking.

Here are a few quotes from unsolicited Timberdoodle reviews. Keep in mind, these are the real words from real parent educators.

Truly a great game! I purchased this for those days when book work just isn't happening. Kids don't even realize they are learning because they are having so much fun. Great purchase you won't regret!

Definitely a game that gets you thinking!

This is such a great game. The quality of the game itself is excellent. It's easy to learn so you'll be able to play right away.

Fun game! We struggle sometimes to find games that my youngest (6 years old) has a fighting chance to win and this is a good option. And it gets her building words in a fun way!

Learning while playing. This fun game is the perfect addition to our collection. She’s practicing spelling without pressure of a curriculum. We love it.

The colors appeal to my little girls especially and they call it the Valentines word game. The dice adds a flair to the game and we are having a lot of fun with it. Personally I would rather do spelling this way.

So much fun! This game really gets my little one thinking in a fun way! We pull it out for game night and she doesn’t even know she is learning because she is having so much fun! It's also great for those days when book work seems to be boring and she is fed up with school.

I saw this and thought it would be fun to incorporate into our spelling routine. Something to take a break from the books. As my son progresses with spelling I can see this being very useful. Will keep adding into our routine for a fun twist on the day.

So, take it from parents who’ve integrated Candygrams into their instructional curriculums. These homeschoolers prove time and time again that, “Play is our favorite way to learn.”
